Forum marketing is a great way of getting targeted, free
traffic, IF you know what you’re doing.
It’s simple , yet it takes quite a while to do, and the results usually
fades out quite fast. However, you might be able to make some
good posts that becomes really popular, and eventually get’s locked
as a ”good post”. Those are the ones you’re going for.
Altough it’s quite hard to make those posts, you’ll learn how eventually.
And YES, it takes time. Everything concidering Internet Marketing does.
The key is to provide quality content. To add value to the forum, and make
people concider you a contributor, rather than an ”affiliate-link-spammer”,
like the rest.
Making ”popular” threads is also good,(The ones that flashes/burns etc.)
but this is more of a short-term tactic.
For that approach, I would recommend writing something crazy about
a well-known product. HOWEVER, it has to be “true”. Don’t just write
something to get people to flame you. That’s not what you want. You
want to grab people’s attention, yet still give them something of value.
Although it might work, with the no-no tactic I mentioned above for a while
it will not work out in the end, meaning no “passive income” for you.
And passive income is what we all want, isn’t it?
You might as well get banned, or mod’s will delete your thread(s).
